Local legend, Dane Perlee, started his surfboard building career right here, out of The Surf Shop with Osprey Surfboards, aside father and The Surf Shop-originator, Al Perlee. From here, he moved to Santa Cruz and became a head shaper at Pearson Arrow Surfboards for many years, learning from one of the biggest legends in the industry, Bob Pearson. Dane then ventured back to his roots and re-established the Osprey brand, where he's built a humble empire and a loyal following. He meticulously hand-shapes each of his boards and is arguably one of the most talented shapers in the the world. A true creator, Dane is always pushing the envelope with new materials, original shapes & fanatical design. You truly are getting the best of the best when you ride an Osprey!
